Welcome…
If you are struggling and seeking support, you are not alone. Loss, trauma, conflict, life changes, and emotional and mental suffering do not discriminate. Any of us can go through difficult times—some more than others—but everyone has personal knowledge of suffering in their lives.
Therapy is not easy, and there is no quick fix, but I am here to work with you, to hear and understand you, and to support your self-discovery process. I want to learn about your story, path, and beliefs, and together with you identify your strengths and explore areas where you might try new ways of being.
I am a compassionate, authentic, and inclusive psychotherapist formally trained in Gestalt Psychotherapy. My life journey has carried me through various hardships and challenges, including dictatorship, armed conflict, trauma, grief and loss, depression, anxiety, fulfilling relationships, separations from less fulfilling ones, immigration, and career changes.
Having engaged in personal therapy and experienced profound healing and transformation, I decided to become a psychotherapist to assist others who, like myself, strive to improve their life experiences.
Gestalt Psychotherapy, in which I am trained, is a presence-based, here-and-now, holistic, and experiential approach. It integrates influences from Gestalt psychology, existential philosophy, science, psychiatry, and body-focused approaches. The term “gestalt” means “whole” or “completion” and suggests the integration of many parts into a whole. Through the Gestalt approach, my clients experiment with new ways of being in the safety of the therapeutic space. Together, we work to release blocks, address past interruptions, and integrate forgotten aspects of the self. This process helps clients recover lost potential, achieve self-support, rediscover authenticity and spontaneity, and feel more alive.

My therapeutic style is informed by my life experiences, personal therapy, and ongoing professional development. This includes training in Art Therapy, Gestalt Counseling, Gestalt Couples Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, group workshops/therapy, working with addictions, somatic interventions, Narrative Therapy, Dreamwork, and Contemporary Shamanic Studies.
I approach each session with the understanding that both you, my client, and I are unique individuals who will co-create the therapeutic relationship. I strive to foster an open, respectful, safe, and supportive space where you feel welcome to share your struggles and navigate your life’s cycles and changes. I also encourage reflections and feedback after our sessions to ensure our work together is beneficial to you. Additionally, I suggest various activities and personal reflections between sessions to support and extend the progress made during our time together.
Over the past seven years, I have worked with clients from diverse walks of life. I am humbled by their determination and hard work in revealing themselves and their life challenges while seeking transformation. I am in awe of our diversity and uniqueness as human beings, and how we all create our lives, walking different paths. I believe we all have the power to change what no longer works in our lives and release those parts of our history that interfere with our ability to enjoy the present.
From my personal experience, I understand the courage it takes to start therapy and commit to personal development, healing, and growth. I also know that therapy can be a rewarding experience.
I work from an anti-oppressive, culturally sensitive, and trauma-informed framework, meeting each client where they are. Regardless of your origin, cultural or spiritual belief, sexual orientation, social status, education, or whether you are Canadian-born, Indigenous, or a recent immigrant, if my services align with your needs, I welcome you.
